Where I was once stand

It has been a year since I graduated with a course of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. It is very overwhelming  once you have entered the hall, music playing in the background while marching towards the stage and much more to it, is when you received the fruit of your sweat and hard work - your diploma.

Everyone was so excited when the program had started. We rose and sang the school Hymn and listen to the speech of our guest speaker. Her speech was pretty interesting - she talked about how we should face the reality of continuing number of nurses and what to expect after graduating.
Another round of applause thundered across the hall after the speeches. It is now the much awaited part - their turn to go onto the stage to receive their souvenirs – bust (clinical) and diploma (commencement) - from their head teacher. In which, during the clinical graduation, it is traditionally offered to your parents after receiving it along with a rose. That part was the most highlight of the ceremony - offering the fruit of the sweats and hard work of your parents. All of us had cried with smiles painted in our faces during that time.

Its just like yesterday when I was once one of those aspirants to enter the college and study with so much eagerness and dedication. Five years ago, I stood in front of a very admired school very frightened, ignorant as well as eager to face another level of education. I much anticipated how is the life of a College student compared to high school. For the four years of staying in the college, I can say I had grew and learned how to be tough whatever life can offer. I had gained friends that made learning more fun and that's what make it more unforgettable.

To the newly graduates, "Congratulations and may God guide you always"
